Victoria Falls, Zambia

Situated about 30kms upstream from Victoria Falls on the Zambian side of the Zambezi, Chundukwa have created unique tree houses, which blend naturally with the Waterberry trees that adorn the riverbanks. Each Tree house is complete with private facilities including shower and flush toilet and breathtaking views of the Zambezi River, Chundu island opposite and the Zambezi National park across the River. The Lodge is in a game area and sightings of hippo, elephant and other game are a common occurrence.

Accommodation is simple and rustic, but comfortable - Chundukwa does not try to be a luxury lodge.

A stay at Chundukwa tree Lodge is the best way to discover Victoria Falls, its wildlife and adventures. We recommend that two to three nights are spent in camp during which time canoe trips, horse trails, walks, visits to the Victoria Falls, visits to our local market and local park can be taken.

For the adventurous it is possible to do white water rafting on the lower Zambezi (rated the best in the world), bungi jumps off the Victoria Falls bridge, microlight or helicopter "flights of angels" over the Falls and elephant- back safaris into the bush.
